P.O. Box 356 Snow Hill, Maryland 21863 Dear Worcester County Fair Food Vendor: The Worcester County 4-H/FFA Fair Board would like to invite you to be a food vendor at the Worcester County Fair. The Fair will be June 21 – June 24, 2018 at Byrd Park in Snow Hill. We have added Thursday events and will be open with limited activities. The Vendor spaces are 20 feet by 20 feet. You must supply your own tables, tent, and chairs. Set-Up Time: Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Hours of Operation: Thursday, June 21, 2018 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 10:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2018 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Fees are based on primary entrée items sold. Items such as fries, chips, baked beans etc. will not be considered as a primary item. The board reserves the right to alter any applicant’s menu or deny any application to eliminate duplications of primary items sold. We want to ensure all applicants’ success at the 2018 Worcester County Fair. Below is the fees based on primary items: One Entrée Menu Item: $150.00 Two Entrée Menu Items: $175.00 Three or More Entrée Menu Items: $225.00 Drinks Surcharge: $50.00 (Lemonade, Tea, Smoothies, etc.) No vendor shall sell any canned or bottled drinks. Nor shall any vendor sell sodas of any kind canned, bottled, fountain or poured. We will be giving you a 10% discount on your Vendor Fee if you participated in the 2017 Worcester County Fair. Vendors must set up during designated times. Vendors must release from any liability for injuries or losses associated with the Worcester County Fair, the Fair Board, the Town of Snow Hill, and its members and associates. Any Vendor providing rides must submit proof of liability insurance that names the Worcester County Fair and the Town of Snow Hill as parties also covered. Vendors are requested to be open during Friday – Sunday operating hours of the Fair. Vendors may open during our Thursday hours at their choosing. Vendors will only be permitted to have one vehicle parked at each booth. All others must be parked in designated Fair parking areas. Vendors must file for a Temporary Food Service Facility Operating License from the Worcester County Health Department, 410-352-3234, at least 30 days prior to the Fair and have the approved license available at the Fair setup. The Worcester County Fair Board will be selling canned drinks and Hot Dogs. Vendors may sell drinks if they choose by paying the drinks surcharged. No vendor shall sell any canned or bottled drinks or sodas of any kind canned, bottled, fountain or poured. Vendors shall also not sell Hot Dogs. All applications may have menus altered to avoid duplication. Security is provided Thursday - Sunday by the Snow Hill Police Department. If you are interested in participating, please return the Food Vendor Application that is enclosed along with your check made payable to: Worcester County 4-H/FFA Fair, P.O. Box 356, Snow Hill, MD. 21863 Final due Date for application and payment must be postmarked by June 1, 2018. There will be a $10.00 late fee for any applications received after the deadline. There will be a $50.00 charge on all returned checks. Refunds will be given if a request is made in writing by June 1, 2018. There will be a service fee of $25.00 deducted from each refund. A confirmation letter will be sent to you once your payment is recorded in the Worcester County Fair bank account. We hope you will take advantage of this event. We advertise through local papers, radio stations, on our website, and through various internet “events” sites, as well as through the Worcester County Fair Premium Catalog and brochures which are distributed throughout Worcester, Somerset, and Wicomico Counties. Please keep this letter as a reference for the dates and times of setup and Fair operations.
