Worcester County Fair
Special Awards
The Worcester County Fair Board would like to thank the following businesses and individuals for their generous donations that will be given as special awards to outstanding exhibits.
OUTSTANDING 4-H EXHIBITORS
Jolly Rogers will award a "day of fun" to the Outstanding 4-H Boy
and 4-H Girl Exhibitor. The award will be based on the following criteria:
Blue - 4 pts; Red - 3 pts; White - 2 pts; Green 1 pt.
OUTSTANDING 4-H INDOOR EXHIBITOR
First Shore Federal Savings & Loans will award a $50.00 savings bond. The
award will be based on the following criteria:
Blue - 4 pts; Red - 3 pts; White - 2 pts; Green 1 pt.
OUTSTANDING OPEN YOUTH INDOOR EXHIBITOR
Mercantile Peninsula Bank will award a $50.00 savings bond. The award will be
based on the following criteria:
Blue - 4 pts; Red - 3 pts; White - 2 pts; Green 1 pt.
FOOD PREPARATION
A: Food Rite, Snow Hill will award five $10 gift certificates to the outstanding
4-H exhibit in cakes, cookies, bread, pies and candies.
B: Take Two Scoops, Snow Hill will award a $10.00 cash award to the outstanding
open youth exhibit.
FOOD PRESERVATION
A: Worcester County 4-H will award a case of canning jars to the outstanding
4-H exhibit.
B: Worcester County 4-H will award a case of canning jars to the outstanding
open youth exhibit
CLOTHING
Black Acre Farm, Berlin, will award a $10 cash award to the outstanding 4-H
exhibit.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Bishop's Stock, Snow Hill will award a $10 cash award to the outstanding 4-H
and open youth exhibit.
ART
Barrett Chevrolet, Berlin, will award a $10 cash award to the outstanding 4-H
junior, intermediate and senior art exhibit.
Bishop's Stock, Snow Hill will award a $10 cash award to the outstanding open
youth art exhibit.
POSTER ART
Bishop's Stock, Snow Hill will award a $10 cash award to the outstanding 4-H
and open youth exhibit.
CRAFTS
Dennis Thrift Shop, Bishopville will award a $10 cash award to the outstanding
4-H exhibit.
Worcester County Farm Bureau will award a $10.00 cash award to the outstanding
open youth exhibit.
COLLECTIONS
Worcester County 4-H will award 100 sport cards to the outstanding sports card
collection for 4-H and open youth.
NATURAL RESOURCES
Cindy Morris will award a $10 cash award to the outstanding 4-H exhibit.
SCRAP BOOK
Worcester County Farm Bureau will award a $10 cash award to the outstanding
4-H exhibit and open youth.
WOODWORKING
The Adkins Company, Berlin, will award a $15 gift certificate to the outstanding
4-H exhibit.
Worcester County Farm Bureau will award a $10 cash award to the outstanding
open youth exhibit.
VEGETABLES & GARDENING
Bill and Nancy T. Blank will award a $10 cash award to the outstanding 4-H exhibit.
Berlin Farm and Home Center, Berlin will award a $10.00 cash award to the outstanding
open youth exhibit.
FASHION REVUE
The Worcester County All-Stars will award one sewing basket to the most distinguished
Fashion Revue participant.
FLOWERS
Bill and Nancy T. Blank will award a $10 cash award to the outstanding 4-H exhibit.
Beyond Flowers, Berlin will award a $10.00 cash award to the outstanding open
youth exhibit.
Field Crops
Bill and Nancy T. Blank will award a $10 cash award to the outstanding 4-H field
crop exhibit.
Additional awards will be announced at a later date.
LIVESTOCK
The Maddox Family will sponsor the Ralph Nichols Herdsmanship Award Trophy and a $50 cash award to the 4-H member that takes the best care of their animal during the Fair.
SWINE
Worcester County Fair will sponsor the Champion Market Hog Trophy.
Maryland Pork Producers will sponsor the Junior Swine Trophy.
Worcester County Fair will sponsor the Champion Fitting & Showing Trophy.
SHEEP
Worcester County Fair, Inc. will sponsor the Champion Market Lamb Trophy.
Worcester County Fair will sponsor the Champion Breeding Sheep Trophy.
Worcester County Fair will sponsor the Champion Sheep Fitting & Showing
Trophy.
DAIRY
Glad-Mar Dairy will sponsor the Champion Dairy Fitting & Showing Trophy.
MidAtlantic Farm Credit will sponsor the Champion Dairy Heifer Trophy.

The Warren Family will sponsor the Champion Beef Fitting & Showing Trophy.
