1. Poultry Show will be open to 4-H Youth, Open Youth and Open Adults.
2. State of Maryland regulations require that all poultry entered into Exhibition must have originated from a Pullorum-Typhoid clean flock or have had a negative test within 45 days of exhibition. 4-H and Youth may have a letter signed by the county extension agent that the birds originated from Pullorum- Typhoid clean flocks.
3. State of Maryland regulations require that all poultry originate from a flock participating in the U.S. NPIP Avian Influenza-Clear flock program. Otherwise each flock must have a minimum of 10 birds tested (or all birds if less than 10) for Avian Influenza. All tests must be negative. If an exhibitor chooses to test only the birds for exhibition it must be done at least 10 days and no more than 45 days prior to the fair and be negative and all tested birds must be held separate from the remainder of the flock. If the birds are commingled then all tests are void.
4. All poultry must be registered in the Maryland Domestic Poultry and Exotic Bird Premises Registration Program.

6. Entrants are limited to entering a total of 12 birds. There may be more than 1 entry per class.
7. Exhibitors are responsible for providing food and water for their birds.
8. All entries must be pre-registered by July 25, 2008.
9. All poultry will be accepted for exhibit between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2009.
