1. Rabbit Show will be open to 4-H Youth, Open Youth and
Open Adult.
2. Entries must be in place between 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on
Thursday, August 6th and will be released at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9th.
3. Judging of all rabbit classes will begin at 11:30 a.m. on
Saturday, August 8th.
4. All entries must be pre-registered by July 31, 2009.
5. Exhibitors are responsible for providing food and water for
their animals.
6. Class, breed, rabbits age division, and ear tattoo* number
must be written on the entry blank.
*Any problems with ear tattoo, exhibitors are asked to
contact their Extension Office and information for tattooing
will be made available.
7. Rabbits in breed classes must be a minimum of 12 weeks
old to be shown. NO EXCEPTIONS. There are no fur
classes.
8. Rabbits will be judged by the latest ARBA Standard of
Perfection.
9. A breed champion will be selected in those breeds with 5
or more entries.
10. Rosettes will be awarded to Breed Champion & Reserve
Breed Champion.
11. A trophy will be awarded to 4-H, Open Youth and Adult
Best of Show entry.
12. Any rabbit showing signs of diseases will be refused
entry.
13. All exhibitors are responsible for presentation of animals
for judging unless prior arrangements have been made with rabbit superintendent.
14. Exhibitors may exhibit more than one animal per class.
15. All animals must be removed at 5:00 p.m., Sunday,
August 10, 2008.
